She was permitted to remain in the home for nearly 13 months. While she stayed m the home, she filled her little mission, gladdening the hearts of the inmates and all visitors who came during her stay. A very bright and precious jewel was she to this home. Back in August she was taken real sick and lingered in this condition for several weeks, then she began to improve, and it was thought that she was about well when she suddenly grew worse and only lived a few hours. On October 6th, the death angel came and bore her spirit away to Him who gave it. These parents are bowing submissively with broken hearts to the will of Him who doeth all things well, remember that "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." Clyde's little form was laid to rest in the Lineville cemetery, services conducted by the writer. B W Mathews.
