Anniston Star
Funeral services for Mrs. R. R. Whatley age 43. who died at her home near here 
Thursday night, were held at Providence Church at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. 
The Rev: Mr. Leighton officiated, and interment was in the church cemetery, with 
White of Anniston in charge. Mrs. Whatley is survived by her husband, two 
daughters. Mrs. Marion Hill and Miss Junior Whatley of near Delta, and three 
sisters, Mrs. Lena Hendon, Motley: Mrs. Ora Mae Guthrie. Boaz, and Mrs. Cora 
Guthrie, Jasper.
