Ashland Progress
Mr. J. B. Whatley. age 77, died at his home in Albertville on January 14th. 
Funeral service was held at Concord church in Clay County conducted by Rev. T. 0. 
Burgess of Talladega assisted by Rev. J. L. Ingram of Ashland and J. C. Lacy of 
Albertville was in charge of the song service He is survived by three daughters. 
Mrs. Steve Todd and Mrs. Willie Arnold of Albertville and Mrs. Willie; Brown of 
Pyriton; one son, Earl Whatley of Talladega; one sister, Mrs. II. L. Adair of 
Ashland. Pallbearers were grandsons Brown Service was in charge. A relative.
