Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Andrew Jackson White, 77, of Alexander City, Rt. 2, were 
held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Providence Primitive Baptist Church in Clay County 
with Elder B. B. Finley and W.B. Dunn officiating. Burial was in the adjoining 
church cemetery with Radney's Brown-Service in charge. Mr. White died Sunday at 
the home of a daughter. Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, C. A. White of 
Decatur, Ga., Aubrey White of Areata, Calif., and A. J. White Jr. of Gary, Ind., 
eight daughters, Mrs. Ana Ingram of Birmingham, Mrs. Ona Baker, Mrs. Vivian 
Bradford and Mrs. Norma Speake, all of Alexander City, Mrs. Gerry Childress, 
Mrs. Faye Lewis and Mrs. Nell Wright, all of Mobile, and Mrs. Edna Peterson of 
Drakesborn, Ky., a brother, K. J. White of Ashland; 29 grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren
