Howard Leonard White 68. of Ashland, died Saturday at University Hospital in 
Birmingham. Funeral services were scheduled today at 2 p.m. at Ashland First 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Henson and the Rev. Robert Curlee Burial 
will be in Ashland City Cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret White; a daughter. Mrs. Helen Johnson 
of Booneville Miss., two sons. Howard White Jr. of Montgomery and Perry Allen 
White of Ashland; a sister, Mrs. Nona Toland of Ashland; six grandchildren and 
two greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jenkins. Charles Matthews, 
Billy Saxon, Louvelle Williams, Troy Jenkins and Earl Burroughs.
