E. Walker, was born in Abbeville District SC on Aug 20, 1848. At about 13 years of age, she was converted ana joined the Church. She was married to Mr. J. S. Wiley, Sept. 20, 1870. She died near Lineville, Ala., March 25, 1888. She had been in feeble health for Several years, and during that time suffered much. In anticipation of her approaching death, she gave to her husband, a few weeks before, instructions in regard to her burial, and her wishes in regard her children. This she did deliberately and without any seeming dread of death. She spoke often of dying, and of her hope beyond the grave.
