Our Mountain Home
Raymond Cecil Williams, 56, World War I veteran, died of a heart attack early 
Sunday morning at his home 217 Court Street. Funeral services were to be held at 
Olive Branch church near Lineville Monday at 3 p. m. with burial in the church 
cemetery. The Revs. C. B. Martin, K. V. McDonald and C. S. Ray were to officiate. 
Military rites will be conducted by the Lineville American Legion post at the 
graveside. Mr. Williams was a member of the police force at Lineville for a 
number of years before moving to Talladega. Survivors are the widow, three sons, 
Vernon, Cecil and Ledford, Lineville; two daughters, Misses Helen and Ellaree 
Williams, Talladega.
