A. Wolf, daughter of J. D. and Annie Wolf was born Jan 30, 1847, was married to P. T. Wolf Nov. 1865, and died Aug. 14th, 1893. Joined the M. E. Church in early life and lived a faithful and consistent member until her death Too much cannot be said in regard to her religious life, the life of a Christian was never exemplified greater than it was in her. She was the mother of twelve children, seven of whom preceded her to the better land. As a wife it can truly be said that she did her part in every respect her husband delighted in her wise counsel. As a mother she was kind and loving. As a neighbor she was kind and accommodating and true. To know her was to love her. She loved the church; her seat was never vacant unless unavoidably kept away. She suffered long and much but never complained or charged God unjustly. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, for they do rest from their labors, sayeth the Lord. We can only submit to the will, of Him who doeth all things well. We weep not as those who have no hope. We expect to meet our sister in the better land, where partings are no more. A Brother.
