Funeral for Forrest Glenn Wood 48 3104 Rocksbury Rd Homewood who died Saturday at 
his home will be at 10 am today at Johns-Ridout’s Chapel and at 2:30 pm at Mellow 
Valley Baptist Church Clay County with burial in the Mellow Valley Baptist Church 
Cemetery Mr. Wood a native of Mellow Valley was employed by Southern Bell 
Telephone Co for past 24 years and at the time his death was plant manager the 
Birmingham Central District. He was a member Mellow Valley Baptist Church 
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Martha Lawrence Wood three daughters Linda Ann 
Wood Sherry Wayne Wood and Deborah Hallum Wood all Birmingham, his father Joe M 
Wood Mellow Valley, four sisters Mrs. John M Gilbert Birmingham, Mrs. Fred Carter 
Opelika, Mrs. Ben Andrews Jr Lafayette and Mrs. Sam Henderson El Dorado Tex.
