Anniston Star
Funeral services for Mrs. Sallle F. Wood, 78, were held at Barfield Baptist 
Church Thursday, the Rev. Jesse Steel officiating. Burial was in the Barfield 
Cemetery, Blair Funeral Home. Lineville, directing. Mrs. Wood, a lifelong 
resident of the Barfield community, died at Clay County Hospital after a long 
illness. Survivors include her husband, Robert W. Wood, one son, Robert W. Wood, 
one daughter. Miss Nettle Wood. One sister, Mrs. Etta Young Lineville, also 
survives.
