Services for Mary Lee Worthy, 89, of Millerville, will be today at 1 1 a.m. at 
Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Rev. LaVelle Reynolds officiating. Burial 
will be in Millerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends today until 
service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Worthy died Saturday at Russell Medical 
Center in Alexander City. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Smith of Bessemer; 
two sons, Bennie Worthy of Acworth, Ga., and Allen Worthy of Millerville; two 
sisters, Nona Phillips of Millerville, and Lottie Kizzire of Gardendale, six 
grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Worthy was a native and 
lifelong resident of Clay County. She was retired from Higgins Manufacturing Co. 
and was a member of Millerville Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Earl Worthy; a daughter, Edna Earl Worthy; and a son, Ted Worthy
