Funeral services for Dallas Vernon Worthy. 51. will be held today at 3 p.m., at 
Lineville Baptist Church with the Revs. John Higdon and Cecil Harrington 
officiating. Mr. Worthy died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon after suffering a 
heart attack. He was a veteran of World War II. His body will lie in state at the 
church for an hour prior to services. He is survived by his wife, two daughters. 
Misses Deborah Ann and Myra Gail Worthy; his mother, Mrs. J. B. Worthy, seven 
sisters and two brothers. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery with Blair 
Funeral Home in charge.
