Colvin Anniston, died Wednesday at her residence after a long illness. Services were scheduled for today at 2 p.m. at Glen Addie Baptist Church with the Rev. Hubert Craft, the Rev. Charles Haynie and the Rev. Billy Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in Cragford Cemetery, Clay County, with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Vickers of Keener, Mrs. Tula Elliot of Tallassee, Mrs. Mildred Cash, Mrs. Laverne Champion and Mrs. Peggy Key, all of Anniston, and Mrs. Joy Brown and Mrs. Jewel Denson, both of Wellington; two sons, Jim Worthy of New Orleans, La. and Jack Worthy of Harpersville; two brothers, Doyle Duke and Howard Duke, both of Tallassee; five sisters, Mrs. Maxie Jackson of Birmingham, Mrs. Pearl Ayers of Cedartown, Mrs. Nina Ballentine, Mrs. Mamie Danford, Mrs. Minnie Heart, all of Tallassee; 28 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Terry Champion, James Denson, Tony Elliot, Tommy Worthy, Jimmy Brown, Kenny Key. Mrs. Worthy was a native of Clay County and had lived in Anniston the past 30 years. She was a member of Glen Addie Baptist Church. The body will remain at the residence until one hour prior to services.
