Lineville Headlight
Mr. John Wesley Wright was born February 22, 1851 and departed this life March 
10, 1913. He was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist church and had lived a 
Christian life. Death with its chilly touch hath came. And called his spirit to 
its heavenly home. He left on earth many aching hearts, as his soul was 
compelled to depart. Dear friends, weep not for Wesley so dear. Because he's 
gone and left you here. For God knows best for him and you. Trust him and he 
will lead you to heaven too. Oft in silent, but earnest prayer, lie asked for a 
home up there; But now he's gone, he'll pray no more. He's resting in peace on 
the blissful shore. His soul from the cares of earth has gone. Bereaved ones, be 
glad that he's gone up there. For now he's free from trouble and care.
