Anniston Star
Funeral services were held this afternoon for Sara Elizabeth Yates, ten-month-old 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Avery Yates. The child died at a local hospital last 
night at 7:30 o'clock after an illness of three weeks. Services were conducted at 
the Barfield Baptist Church by the Rev. T. D. Dean. Interment was at the church 
cemetery with Jones in charge. Besides the parents the child is survived by a 
brother, Daniel, and two sisters, Vivian and Gail.
