J. A. Hudson Born Oct. 26, 1835 Died Dec. 19, 1900 "Though the body slumbers here The soul is safe in heaven." John A. Hudson was the son of Mary Lacy Unknown [probably Northcutt] and Unknown Hudson. He married Tabitha E. Moore. To them were born several children; those that I have names for are Plummer, William K., John Isaiah, Semistra Semiramis "Simmie," Nanesia Victoria, and Charlie W. Additional Comments: The cemetery is located approximately two miles east of the present day Mineral Springs Methodist Church. The cemetery is about a mile off the main road and is accessible by vehicle down a path which leads to the old Caldwell place and the site of the original Mineral Springs Methodist Church. There are a number of marked graves, but over fifty unmarked graves.
