Born March 25, 1856, died Jan 9, 1938, buried at Rock Springs church cemetery 
on Rock Springs road off Hiway 9 in Clay County, Alabama.  Inscription on the 
stone he shares with wife Lodusky Vardaman Partridge:  "Dear Parents, Though We 
Miss You Much, We Know You Rest With God"
