Original stone reads B.A. Luker, CO. E. 3 ALA. INF. C.S.A.  2nd Stone adds PVT 
and states "Born November 19, 1822, Died June 1, 1884" Buried at Rock Springs 
church cemetery on Rock Springs road off hiway 9 in Clay County.  

Additional Comments:
Husband of Eliza Claunch, Son of William F. Luker/Lucre.  Although the 2nd 
stone lists his date of death as 1884, there is a Benjamin A. Luker age 77 
found living in the home of his daughter Nancy in the 1900 Census of Clay 
County.
