Born June 14, 1880 in Clay County, Alabama, died October 6, 1962 in Clay 
County, Alabama, buried at Rock Springs church cemetery on Rock Springs road, 
off hiway 9 in Clay County,Alabama. The name and dates for Ivy are correct, but 
the information on Mary Frances Luker McWhorter is incorrect.  The inscription 
reads "Mary E." instead of "Mary F.", an error by the stonecutters which was 
compounded in 1967 when Mary died 7 days short of her 80th birthday and the 
stonecutters again made a mistake by transposing her year of death to 1976.  
This left people scratching their heads for 9 years until the date on the stone 
finally caught up with time itself.
