Born September 4, 1915 in Clay County, Alabama, died July 14, 1924 within 2 
miles of where he was laid to rest at Rock Springs church cemetery on Rock 
Springs road off hiway 9 in Clay County Alabama. 

Additional Comments:
Son of Ivy Ode and Mary Frances McWhorter.  Already sick, he died a few days 
after he fell out of his bedroom window when he climbed up on the sill to try 
to look up and see the first airplane he ever heard flying over their home.
