Know all men that I, Joshua Horn, being of sound mind doth make this day November 30th, 1875, this my last will and testament towit: First, I give my body to my Mother Earth and my soul to my God who gave it. 2nd, I want all my honest and legal debts paid. 3rd, I give and bequeath to each of my children by name; Green Lee, Larry B., Elijah L, Elizabeth Cox, wife of Tifton Cox, Rebecca McWright, wife of Joel McWright, James M, twenty dollars after the death of myself and their mother, my wife. 4th, I given and bequeath to John T. Horn, the son of Andrew Horn, one dollar. 5th I will, and wish all my property, lands, stock of all kinds and monies to be left together for the support and maintenance of my wife Dolly Ann, during her life, and at her death I wish and will all of the property, stocks and monies (except what is heretofore given to my other children in the first part of this writing to remain), as the property of my daughter Lucinda Horn to have and hold in her own name whether she, the said Lucinda, marries or remains single, provided she pays the following legacies. (towit), 1st, to Andrew W Kirkpatrick, when he shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years, one horse saddle and bridle and fifty dollars in money. 2nd, to give Jackson Lee Kirkpatrick the same as his brother Andrew W. But if the aforesaid Andrew and Jackson Lee Kirkpatrick refuse to remain with my daughter Lucinda until they are twenty one years old and leave without her consent, then she, the said Lucinda Horn, my daughter, can exercise her pleasure as to the amounts she will give. I wish and will and hereby appoint my wife, Dolly Ann Horn, the Executrix, without security, of this my last will and testament.
