Bean, who produces to the court a paper purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Jesse Walker, lately of Talladega, now Cleburne County, Ala., deceased and moves the court to admit the said will to probate and issue Letters Testamentary on said estate to said Solomon H. Bean, the Executor of said Will. It is therefore ordered that a citation issue to any sheriff of the State of Alabama commanding him to summon: Polly Walker the widow of the said Jesse Walker Elizabeth Wadsworth, over the age of twenty one years residing in Cleburne County, Ala James Walker, son, under the age of twenty one years old residing in the State of Georgia Nancy Wadsworth, over twenty one years of age residing in St. Clair County, Ala Martha Florance, over the age of twenty one years residing in the State of Texas Susan Neeley, over the age of twenty one years residing in the State of Texas Jane Bean and Solomon Bean her husband both over the age of twenty one years residing in Cleburne Co. Ala Lucinda Pilkinton over the age of twenty one years residing in Cleburne Co. Ala Sarah Bean over the age of twenty one years residing in Cleburne Co. Ala Nancy A. Walker over the age of twenty one years residing in the State of Georgia Jesse R. Killgore, Mary Ann Killgore, Alabama Killgore, Edmund Killgore, Martha J. Killgore, all under twenty one years of age residing in Cleburne County, Ala. It is therefore ordered that Monday the 26th day of April 1869 be set for hearing and proof of said Will and that a citation issue to the above heirs to appear at the probate office in Cleburne County, State of Ala., on said 26th day of April 1869 and it is further ordered that the above order be published in the St. Clair County Eagle, a newspaper printed and published in St. Clair county, Ala, for three successive weeks as notice to said heirs to appear at the probate office of Cleburne County, State of Ala., on the said 26th day of April 1869 and contest the same if they think proper. A.D. Chandler, Judge of Probate ____________ SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE ESTATE OF WILLIS L. SCOTT, dec'd State of Alabama, Cleburne County Probate Court March 1869 To the honorable Probate Court of said county: the undersigned administrator of the estate of Willis L. Scott, late of said county, deceased, report to your honor that by virtue of an order made by said court after giving the notice required, at least 3 weeks by posting at the court house door and three other public places in said county, did proceed and sell on the 15th day of February 1869 at the late residence of the decendent at public outcry all the person property or rents of the lands for the year 1868 that was subject to sale belonging to said estate for cash, the following property wo wit and to the highest bidder and to the following persons: P.J.G. McCaghren, 3 1/4 bushes corn $2.11 P.J.G. McCaghren, second lot, 7 bushels of born $5.77 John Webb, 5 gallons syrup $2.75 John Chandler, 5 gallons syrup $2.55 Amos Barnet, 6 gallons syrup $3.05 Frank Little, a lot of shucks .10 Believing that the sale was legally and fairly proceeded with I ask your honor to approve the same and record the proceedings int he probate office all of whichis respectully submitted. Chandler, Judge of Probate ____________ ORDER APPOINTING JAMES BELL as Administrator of Estate of SARAH HUNT, dec'd. State of Alabama, Cleburne County Probate Court April 3rd 1869 On this day, James Bell presented his petition praying to be appointed administrator of the estate of Sarah Hunt, deceased. The premises considered it is therefore ordered by the court that James Bell be and he is hereby appointed administrator of the estate of Sarah Hunt, deceaed as aforesaid and that Letters issue to said Bell in terms of the law, he having given bond and qualified as the law requires. WIGGONTON as Administrator of Estate of RICHARD BEASON, Dec'd State of Alabama, Cleburne County Probate Court April 5th 1869 At this term of the court letters of administration on the estate of Richard Beason, deceased is hereby granted to J.W. Wiggonton, general administrator of Cleburne Co., who has duly qualified and given bond as such and is authorized to administer such estate, dated this 5th day of April 1869. A.D. Chandler, Judge of Probate (Note in file: Letters never issued, the death of Judge Chandler prevented issuing) State of Alabama, Cleburne County Probate Court This 5th day of April 1869 at this term of the court came M.R. Bell and files his petition in writing alleging that Richard Beason died in Cleburne County, seized and possessed of certain tracts or parcels of land lying in Cleburne County, State of Ala., to wit: Section 15, Township 17, Range 10. Petitioner prays that letters that letters of administration be granted on said estate to J.W. Wiggonton, Genl. Admr., of Cleburne County as said estate in justly indebted to him the said M.R. Bell in the sum of seventy five dollars which sum is unpaid. The premises considered it is therefore ordered by the court that Letters issue to the said J.W. Wiggonton, Gen's Admr. of said County and that notice be given by publication in the St. Clair County Eagle a newspaper printed and published in St. Clair county state of Ala in terms of the law.
