Cleburne Institute, Edwardsville - Cleburne Co., AL


Cleburne Institute was a private school for the education of boys and girls. 
The school was located in Edwardsville and was incorporated February 18, 
1891. The Founder and sole incorporators was Professor D. Adams Sox. In 
1894, Mr. H.G. Barnes and Mr. C. M. Garrett served in the capacity as 
principle of the school. Cleburne Institute closed before 1921.
