N. Hanna and wife left Wednesday for Birmingham. We trust Mr. Hanna will soon able to resume his duties as operator on the Frisco. __ W.C. Hamil, who has been spending several weeks in Heflin, left this week for his home in Waco, GA, accompanied by his daughter, Mrs. O.J. Dewberry and children. __ Whit Vaughan died last Tuesday at ten o'clock after an illness of ten days with stomach trouble. He was buried in the family lot Wednesday. Coppeck, et. al., Petition for sale of lands for division amont joint owners, prayer granted, and sale ordered. M.E. Gibbs, guardian for W.C. Gibbs, et. al., Minors, account filed and day of settlement appointed. C.W. Lee, administrator of the estate of W.O. Lee, deceased, continued to the next regular term. M.E. Brown, administrator of the estate of J.M. Brown, deceased, continued to next regular term. N.A. Sox, administrator o fthe estate of Jas. T. Golden, deceased, account filed and day of settlement appointed. Carrie Chambers, administratrix of the estate of J.B. Chambers, deceased, continued to the next regular term. M. Rutenberg, administrator of the estate of Leze Rutenberg, deceased, account filed and day of settlement appointed. H.M. Hicks, administrator of the estate of B.T. Brown, deceased, continued to the next regular term of the court. W.M. Wise, guardian of N.J. Wise, et., al., Minors, account audited, passed and allowed and guardian discharged. J.D. Vaughan, administrator of the estate of F.W. Vaughan, deceased, continued to next regular term of court. Emmett Wheeler, Administrator of the estate of John Wheeler, deceased, account passed, and allowed and stated. B.F. Holland, guardian of Ola May Hollis, account audited, passed and allowed and guardian discharged. Anderson Mercer, guardian of Vannie and Jimmie Mercer, minors, account passed and allowed as stated. Louie Doster, nee, Neff, Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of A. Neff, deceased, account stated and day appointed to hear and pass on same. ____ NEWSPAPER Issue of Thursday, July 20, 1911 LOCAL News Mrs. Comer, mother of Mrs. Ed. Guilwarten, is visiting on the Nelm farm. __ FRUITHURST News Mr. Joel Vann, who has been ill for some time, has seemed stronger the past week. __ Joe Robinson, who was struck by a bolt of lightning and severely burned while at Gadsden some days ago, is slowly recovering at his home. __ Miss Marie Paulsen arrived in Norway July 3rd after spending two weeks in Liverpool and the same time in London, where she witnessed the grand scenes of Coronation Day.
