For as much as it pleased God in His wise Providence to take out of this world the soul sister of W.J. Bradberry on the 26th of December, her husband preceding her to the grave seven years and two days. Sister Bradberry was about 72 years of age and to know her was to love her. Her friends were numbered by all who knew her. She was such a sweet christian woman; as a wife and mother no one could have been more devoted and kind; as a neighbor and friends, she was unexcelled, always kind and unobtrusive, ready at all times to assist anyone who needed her in any way. Brother and Sister Bradberry raised their family in this community, moving several years ago to near Haleyville, and how we did miss them. They were so much help in the church. The question was never asked "were Bro. and Sister Bradberry at church?", for they were, unless sickness prevented, and the children and grandchildren, if they will only live as this good mother and grandmother lived, you will meet again. Seems like we can almost hear her say "good Master, have you come, I am only waiting". In these sad hours when death takes our loved ones, though there seems only one thing that we can do and that is to go and tell Jesus about it; we know that He is always ready and sufficient in grace and sympathy, and that He will carry us through these trials, if we will only lean on Him all the way....
