Obituary of Henry Robert Ashley

The Cleburne News 
July 13, 1950 

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR HENRY ROBERT ASHLEY, 56 

Funeral services were conducted Monday for Henry Robert Ashley who died at his 
home on Rt. 1, Heflin, Saturday morning. 
The Rev. Vernon Johnson and the Rev. Tommy Owens officiated at the service in 
Pilgrim Rest Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. 
Surviving the 56 years old man are his wife Mrs. Lena Ashley; two sons, Edward 
and Arlin Ashley of Heflin; four daughters Mrs. Harvey Turley of Graham; Mrs. 
Bill Ogle of Anniston; Mrs. Hosie Bise and Mrs. J.B. Turley of Heflin; two 
sisters Mrs. Bertie Standford and Mrs. Minnie Standford both of Albertville; 
two brothers, Martin Ashley of Birmingham and Joe Ashley of Haleyville.

Henry Robert Ashley was the  son of Reuben Ashley Jr. and Minnie Martha E. 
Thompson Ashley.
