Anniston Star
C. T. Cruse, age 70, was laid to rest in Hepsebah Cemetery Saturday afternoon 
after funeral services at Hepsebah Church conducted by the Rev. Mr. Grubbs. Usrey 
was in charge of interment. Mr. Cruse died at his residence on Heflin, Route 4, 
Thursday night. Surviving are his wife, four sons, A. C. and Thomas Cruse of 
Oxford and O. C. and. A. J. Cruse of Anniston, and three daughters, Mrs. E. 
Cheatwood and Mrs. J. L. Rice of Oxford and Mrs. B T. Huckeba of South Carolina.

Additional Comments:
Charles Cruse was the son of Andrew J. Cruse and Martha Morrison-Strong. He 
married Catherine Currie.
