Anniston Star
James Oscar Knight 67 of Delta, Rt. 1, died this morning at his residence. 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Hephzibah 
Baptist Church in Cleburne County with the Revs. Frank Young and Elbert Daniels 
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Knight is survived by 
his wife Mrs. Nora Knight; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Crosson of Heflin, Mrs. 
Hattye Hollis of Delta and Mr. Loretta Rooks of Heflin, and his mother, Mrs. 
Anne Knight of Bynum; three brothers, C. M. Knight of Oxford, I.A. Knight of 
Anniston and J. S. Knight of Bynum; five sisters, Mrs. W. F. Striplin, Mrs. 
Howard Pruitt of Delta, Mrs. F. A. Williamson of Heflin, Mrs. Elbert Wright of 
Huntsville, Mrs. W.E. Graben of Lineville and six grandchildren, Jones Funeral 
Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Eldon Barnwell, Earl 
Graben, Frank Williamson, Howard Pruitt and Sam Morris.
