Cleburne News
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for one of the county's best-known 
citizens. Z. W. Morris, 81, was buried at that time in Hepsabah cemetery. Funeral 
services had been conducted in Hepsabah church by Rev. Gus Young. Cantrell of 
Heflin directed. Mr. Morris died at his home on Rt. 3, Heflin, at 10 a. m. 
Sunday. Mr. Morris was a native-born Cleburne County. having been born in June 
1870. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sally Morris, and three daughters: Mrs. Luther 
Baughn, Ranburne, Mrs. Porter Wimbish, Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. A. R. Baughn, of 
Heflin, and five grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Bill Smith, Dowery 
Triplett, Wilson Cavender, Comer Howle, Guy Cavender, and Blake Howle.
