Coffee County AlArchives Cemeteries.....Rosin Ridge Cemetery at Arcus - Partial Survey More to Come ************************************************ Copyright. Arcus was a thriving community in the early 1900s, but no longer exists except on old maps. There was a post office, stores, homes, etc. The cemetery is very small and is about 4 miles south of Victoria and about 8 miles north of Elba. The Coffee County history book states that there was originally a church at this location. The cemetery is located at the intersection of AL Hwy. 125 and Coffee County Roads 349 (paved) and 351 (dirt). The cemetery is up on a hill in the southeast corner of the intersection. Please e-mail me at kking1947@centurytel.net with questions or corrections of errors. The survey is complete. Nick Maddox and my uncle, Dr. Paul D. Kendrick, helped me with the history of some of these graves.
