"Coffee County Vols" Dec. 6th 1860 The State of Alabama November the 24th 1860 Coffee County We the undersigned citizens have this day formed ourselves into a cavalry company known and stiled the Coffee County Cavalry volunteers in order to make up the amount of men that is assigned to be rased in said county under the provisions of the act, passed the 24th of Feby. 1860 to provide for an efficient Military organization of the State of Alabama.
