“Signs of the Times” Primitive Baptist Periodical, May 1968 Issue

JOSEPH FRANK BRADSHAW – Coffee Co., Ala., Geneva Co., Ala.

	J. F. Bradshaw, the subject of this sketch, was born in Coffee Co., 
Ala., and died in Samson, Geneva Co., Ala., at 81 years of age.  He was a noted 
Sacred Harp singer and attendant of Primitive Baptist meetings.
	His funeral was conducted at Tabernacle Church Oct. 19, 1967, by Mr. J. 
P. Davis and Elder J. J. Collins, with interment in the local cemetery beside 
his wife, who preceded him in death by many years.
	He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Beasley and Serenia Holley, 
and five brothers:  A.B., D.D., C.A., J.J., and C.C. Bradshaw.
	He was an outstanding citizen of Geneva County. - J. J. Collins

is shown as being born 7-23-1886 with death 10-17-1967.  He was buried in the 
Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery at Bald Hill, Geneva Co., Ala.  He married 
on 10-20-1907 in Geneva Co. to Nancy A. Price, who died in 1963.  They had a 
daughter Catherine who died in 1931 at about age 5 and whose tombstone is joint 
with that of her parents.  Joseph Frank Bradshaw was the son of Columbus Asbury 
Bradshaw and Laura Donaldson Bradshaw.
