Peppers, Jr., the owner of Peppy's Landscaping since 1952, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004 in Portlane, Oregon. He was 76. Mr. Peppers, an Air Force veteran of World War II was born May 30, 1928, in Elba, Ala. He moved to Vancouver, Washington in 2001. He enjoyed flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Paula J., at home; four sons, Steve and Chris of Vancouver, Wayne of Alabama, and Tim of Monroe; four daughters, Ann Hull of Alabama, Jennifer Austin of Renton. Deborah Van Allen of Yakima, and Holly Cochran of Spokane; one stepson, Tim Walker of Vancouver; one stepdaughter, Gina Forncrook of Vancouver; one sister, Eloise Fuller of Alexander City, Ala.; 26 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral will begine at 10 am Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, Private burial will follow. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1425 N. E.
