Local News, Tampa, Fl. Hillsborough county, Wednesday, July 25, 2007.
Mattie A. Puig, 91 of Tampa, Fl. died July 19, 2007. Born in Elba, Ala. 
September 3, 1915 the eldest of 12 Children. She resided in Florida for more 
than 70 years. Survivors; Two Brothers, Earl and C. W. Whaley. Five Children, 
Peggy Rabner (Richard), Janette Urso (Guy), Anne Kerce, Doyle Willis and Ray 
Willis, 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great 
Grandchildren. Funeral services 11 am. Saturday, July 27, 2007 at the Chapel of 
JGR Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Plant 
City, Fl. Family would like to thank Hospice of the Comforter, Altamonte 
Springs, Fl., LifePath Hospice, Austin House Assisted Living Facility and 
Woodbridge Rehabilitation Center of Tampa (Fl) for their loving care. Family 
will receive friends 10-11 am. Saturday at the Chapel (JRG) of Julio & Adolfo 
Gonzalez-Roel Funeral Home, 6718 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, Fl. (813) 932-5308.
