HEADSTONE : LUCINDIA PRESTWOOD.  BORN MAY 22, 1849  DIED NOV. 11, 1864

LOCATED IN ON THE RIGHT TOP CORNER IN LINE WITH HER PARENTS TERRY PRESTWOOD 
AND GILLEY PRESTWOOD. TO THE RIGHT OF GILLEY.
Small Pox cemetery is located IN COFFEE COUNTY close to Dale county line off 
of County (dirt) Road 136 located on top of the highest hill in the middle of 
land that has had the trees cut. Taking 105 through New Hope, go about 2 miles 
and turn right on 107, and then go about 1 1/2 miles and take a right on 127. 
Look to the right for a dirt road county road 136 and take a right. It will be 
on the right almost at the end of the road where it ends into another road. If 
you reach the end of 136 where it goes into another road, you have gone too 
far. Turn around and look back. Looking back it will be the top of the hill on 
your left. Cemetary just looks like a bunch of bushes and a tree on top of the 
hill. However when you get to the top, inside the bushes there is a chain link 
fence that was erected in 1986. Sign TO LEFT OF GATE: " erected by  O.P. 
Shepard  nov. 19, 1986 IN LOVING MEMORY OF THIS PART OF MY FAMILY WHO DIED OF 
SMALLPOX DURING THE CIVIL WAR. Sign to right of gate : "WHEN A LAND REJECTS 
HER LEGENDS, SEES BUT FALSEHOODS IN THE PAST; AND IT'S PEOPLE VIEW THEIR 
SIRES, IN THE LIGHT OF FOOLS AND LIARS, 'TIS A SIGN OF IT'S DECLINE, AND IT'S 
GLORIES CAN NOT LAST,BRANCHES THAT BUT BLIGHT THIER ROOTS, YEILD NO SAP FOR 
LASTING FRUITS. R. C. G.
