Shepard nov. 19, 1986 IN LOVING MEMORY OF THIS PART OF MY FAMILY WHO DIED OF SMALLPOX DURING THE CIVIL WAR. Small Pox cemetery is located IN COFFEE COUNTY close to Dale county line off of County (dirt) Road 136 located on top of the highest hill in the middle of land that has had the trees cut. Taking 105 through New Hope, go about 2 miles and turn right on 107, and then go about 1 1/2 miles and take a right on 127. Look to the right for a dirt road county road 136 and take a right. It will be on the right almost at the end of the road where it ends into another road. If you reach the end of 136 where it goes into another road, you have gone too far. Turn around and look back. Looking back it will be the top of the hill on your left. Cemetary just looks like a bunch of bushes and a tree on top of the hill. However when you get to the top, inside the bushes there is a chain link fence that was erected in 1986.
