Jackson Ridge Cemetery

This cemetery is located in an isolated wooded area and is
surrounded by private property.  The owners are reluctant
to allow access to the cemetery but will if pressed. Help
in gaining access or additional directions may be obtained 
from David Yarbrough a resident of Iuka, Miss.

The cemetery is in Alabama but is located on a section of land
that connects to Mississippi and extends eastward to the
Pickwick water system.  Land access from Alabama is not an
option.  To visit the cemetery, go eastward from Iuka, Ms.
on Eastport road about 1/2 mile.  Then continue eastward on
Snowdown Road for about 5 miles.  The cemetery will be SW
of the Snowdown Rd. several hundred yards.  A crude road
proceeds southward and a marker indicating the location
of the cemetery is available.  The cemetery, then is upon
a hill SW of the marker.  I believe there are only 2 tombstones
which are legible.  All the other names on this list are
blood relatives or in-laws of myself.  Various records
and personal contacts have been used to compile this list.

The co-ordinates of the cemetery are 34.796N and 088.104W.
