The oldest grave dates to 1875. Patrick Henry Ligon was the postmaster of Hunter, AL. Directions: From the intersection of Hwy. 157 and Hwy. 43 in Tuscumbia, go east on Hwy. 157 for 3.3 miles. Turn right onto Gargis Lane (County Road 77) and continue for 3.7 miles. Turn right on Coburn Mountain Road and go .8 miles. Turn right on Braden Lane and continue for .4 miles. Turn left onto the unpaved road. The cemetery cannot be seen from the main road and is located behind the residence of the people who currently own the property.
