This file was contributed and copyrighted by: Linda Green ================================================================================= March 1999 Crittenden Land Transfer Record - Colbert Co., AL The State of Alabama Colbert County Know all men by these presents that for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five ($25.00) dolllars to us in hand paid by Felix Crittenden: the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, We Robert Crittenden, John Crittenden, Emmet Crittenden, LaFayette Crittenden, Callie Orton wife of Joe Orton and Annie Crosthwaite wife of James Crosthwaite (all of said county and state) and each of us to hereby service, releast quit claim sell and convey unto said Felix Crittenden all our and each of us our right title interest and claim in or to the following described tract of land known by United States Survey as the southwest quarter (sw 1/4) of the North west quarter (NW 1/4) of section three (3) township 5 range 10 west of the basic meridian at Huntsville Alabama lying and being in the said county and state, to have and to hold absolutely in fee simple title unto himself said Felix Crittenden for his own use but we do not warrant the said title save and except as to any claim derived from us through us or either of us, and warrant the same against the lawful claim of any one claiming under this or from us respectively, and we Joseph Orton and James Crosthwaite husbands respectively of above Callie Orton and Annie Crosthwaite join herein, assenting to and concurring in this conveyance executed Eleander Crittenden, Matilda Crittenden, Florence Crittenden and Timey Crittenden join to by our satisfaction ______release any claim of ours we or either of us might have.
