Mr. Campbell was a native and lifelong resident of that section where he was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and engaged in farming. Surviving is addition to his wife, are nine sons, James Huston, Robert Leonard, Neal Lee, George Frank, J. R., Jack, Earl, Willie and Homer all of Colbert County; six daughters, Mrs. Aubrey Campbell Moulton; Mrs. Harry Campbell, Mrs. John R. Dawson, Miss Grace Campbell, Miss Sarah Campbell, Miss Mamie Sue Campbell; two brothers Will and Jim C. Campbell, all of Leighton; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Quinn, Mrs. McTelma Kent, Tuscumbia and Mrs. Lou Roden, Leighton. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 O'Clock at the Mt. Zion Church with W. G. Harrison, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial followed in the Hardshell Cemetery Brown Service directing. Pallbearers were nephew, Johnny and Lytle Roden, Dudley and Irvin Kent Eugene, Horace and Will Campbell and John Quinn. NOTE: Name Correction to obituary; Sons Neal Lee should be Noelee, Jim C. Campbell should have been Jim J. Campbell, daughter Mrs. McTelma should have been Matilda Kent, Mrs. Aubrey Campbell should have been Eva Dale ( Campbell ) Cameron.
