The funeral for Mrs Virgie L. Morgan 89, 711 Hill Ave., Muscle Shoals was 
scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, Sheffield with the 
Rev. Fary Phillips officiating.  Burial was to be held in Colbert Co. Memorial 
Gardens.  She died Sunday at Keller Memorial Hospital.  she was a native and 
lifelong resident of Colbert Co., a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church 
and widow of Walter P. Morgan.  Survivors include sons Richard Morgan, Howard 
Morgan, Preston Morgan, daughters Mrs. Irene Posey, Mrs. Norma Derian, Mrs. 
Marie McLay, Mrs. Rachel Mason, Sister, Mrs Etoile Walker, Brothers Wood Lowry 
and Ted Lowry.  31 grandchildren and 41 greatgrandchildren.  Brearers were to 
be Allen Morgan, Otis L. South, Danny Stutts, Bob Mason, Frank Nixon, Billy  
Joe south.
