Deceased was a native of Walker county, coming to Colbert in his youth, and spent the remainder of his life here, engaging in farming. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and had many friends here. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minerva Caroline Quinn; three sons, Leland, Robert and Claud Quinn, and five daughters, Mrs. Susie Ford, Miss Ada Martin Quinn, Mrs. Ethel Ford, Mrs. Thelma Lowery and Mrs. Grace Lowery, all of Leighton, route one. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Rock Creek church, conducted by Elder Lytle Burns, of the Primitive Baptist church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery, Brown Service directing. Pallbeares will be Elbert Grissom, Earl Grissom, Robert Campbell, Edgar McCormack, Emmett Blaner, Alex Seaborn.
