This file was contributed and copyrighted by: STEPHEN LEE ================================================================================ May 2003 Obituary of Chesley Bell Andrews from The Evergreen Courant, Thursday, July 21, 1932 Funeral Wednesday For Chesley Bell Andrews Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon 3 o’clock at Belleville for Chesley Bell Andrews, age 52, who died Tuesday afternoon at a Montgomery hospital after an illness of some several months. He had been in the hospital for treatment since about the first of July. The body was brought here on Train No. 3 Tuesday night and carried to Belleville. Deceased was a native of this county and had lived here most of his life. He formerly lived in Evergreen. At the time of his death he lived at Belleville. He had a host of relatives and friends who are deeply grieved at his passing. Surviving him is one son, Robert, age 14; five brothers, H.H. and J.D. Andrews of Mobile; Ralph of Castleberry; W.S. of Birmingham and J.V. of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. M.L. Dagoff of Birmingham and Mrs. E.E. Davis of Dallas, Texas. Deceased had been married twice, his last wife preceded him in death by slightly more than one year.
