Andrews from The Evergreen Courant, Wednesday, February 7, 1900 Death of Mrs. E. M. Andrews Sister E. M. Andrews was born, reared and married in Wilcox county, moving to this community in the early fifties. Since then she has resided here continuously and reared a large family of children - six sons and five daughters, all living. Her sons are all staunch, thrifty farmers and members of the church, save two, whom we sincerely trust will soon return to the path of duty and strive to serve their mother's God. Her daughters are all married and living in easy reach of the old homestead. She expressed a bright hope and was perfectly resigned to her fate, saying to her pastor on more than one occasion, "I am ready, waiting and willing for the summons to come." Sister Andrews was a great sufferer but showed remarkable fortitude through it all. She died in her 78th year. We are glad to be able to commend her life for the emulation of all the living, especially to her children. Live for the Master and He will give you peace here and happy hereafter. God bless the bereaved. S. P. Lindsey
