Andrews from The Evergreen Courant, November 17, 1927 JAMES T. ANDREWS CALLED BY DEATH James T. Andrews, aged 87 died at an early hour Saturday morning, November 12, at home of his brother, H.M. Andrews of Belleville. Death came after a lingering illness. Mr. Andrews was a native of this county, but for the past 35 years had lived in Oklahoma and Texas. He came from his home in Texas to the home of his brother about six weeks ago. It is said that it was his desire to die and be buried in this county. Deceased is survived by five children, all of whom live in Texas. They are James, Vincent and Will Andrews, Mrs. Mamie Foster and Mrs. Sue Fowler. At the time of his death, Mrs. Fowler was the only one of the children present. Funeral services were held in the presence of a large crowd of friends and relatives at Belleville Saturday afternoon. Rev. R.D. Wright of Castleberry conducted the services. Interment was made in Belleville cemetery.
