Ward, Co. F 23 ALA INF, born February 10, 1843 Died October 13, 1872. Ward Cemetery is off Hwy 83 Conecuh County, Alabama Additional Comments: Pictures taken on an outing by Page,Ward and Witherington descendants in April 2003. Mr Wiley Ward addressed the descendants that gathered in the Old Depot, where the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce greeted all. The Ward Cemetery is where the Ward bothers (Irvin and Stephen) that murdered Allen Page were buried on November 18, 1859, after they were hanged, their graves lie North and South in the cemetery.
