             Co. B Ala. Regt. Enlisted in 8 Apr. 1862 Rockford, Ala. Assigned to  
             Co. K Apr. 9, 1865." (1)

Second Record: "Jacks, Doctor Franklin: Company B & K 59th Alabama Inf.  
                Enlisted at Rockford, Coosa County, Alabama on April 10, 1862 
                and served until he was paroled at the close of the war, April 
                10, 1865 at the surrender via Appomattox Court House, Virginia. 
                Born September 10, 1843, Tallapossa County, Ala. Address, 1921, 
                RFD 2, Clanton, Chilton County, Alabama. 1921, Census of
