"Local and Personal
Bebe Atchley, after a lingering illness of about two years, died last
Monday night.  He was about thirty-five years old - cut off in the prime
of his life.  He leaves a wife and several children.  We extend our
sympathy to the bereaved." (1)

Note:  Mr. Atchley is buried in New Hope Methodist Cemetery, located
about 3 miles west of Rockford on Highway 22.  On his stone it has:
Beed J. Atchley  "Father"  b. 1877  d. 1914.  It appears his wife is
buried beside him.  On her stone it has: Nora B. Atchley  "Mother"  b.
1878  d. 1920.  Beside them is buried Renfro S. Atchley, born and died
1910,  with "Brother" written on it also.
