"Ellis Boyett Passed Away
Ellis Boyett died Friday night of last week after suffering for
several months with cancer of the stomach. Funeral services were held
at Sears Chapel Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. J. T. Fielding
conducted the funeral services.
Ellis is survived by a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Boyett,
5 brothers and two sisters.
He was 35 years old and was a model young man and was loved by all
who knew him. (1)

Note: Lovick Ellis Boyett (b. 3 Aug 1886 and d. 2 Sep 1921) is buried
at Sears Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, located about a mile
north of Rockford, Coosa Co., AL. On his headstone it has inscribed
"Woodman". He is buried near his mother and father.
