"Benjamine Calloway, Dr., Weogulfka, died 2-9-1901. He was born 
11-10-1803 Wilkes Co., Ga. 1819 settled Autauga Co. Married Mary Ann
Melton on 4-5-1825, moved to Coosa Co. from Autauga in 1855. Joined
Chestnut Creek Baptist Church in 1835. Born to him was 20 children, at
death had 155 grand and great grand children. Burial at Weogulfka
2-10-1901. He was the Son of Job Calloway born 1768 who is buried in
the same cemetery!" (1)

Note: He is buried in Weogufka Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL. 
His wife called Polly is buried near him. The Church was established in 
1848 and is presently known as "Weogufka First Baptist Church". Weogufka 
Second Baptist Church is located at Weogufka and does not have a
cemetery. The cemetery and church mentioned here is located about 2
miles due south of Weogufka. Also note that the obit has Weogufka
incorrectly spelt.
